The final minute resolution of Assam Education department dropped out its plan to reopen school on 1Sep as there is still rise in Covid cases and they can’t afford to take risk on students by opening the school.
“The government is in no mood to take risks with the health of school students as they are not yet vaccinated. The health department has not raised any concerns, but the state education department is not confident of starting offline classes,” stated a senior official of the training division.
He additional stated that the Covid scenario just isn’t very encouraging within the state because the variety of every day instances continues to be over 500. “The wellbeing division has issued no objections to college reopening, however we are going to abide by their new SOP to be revealed quickly,” the official added.
Ranoj Pegu, state training minister, held talks with the All Assam Students’ Union and varied different indigenous organizations to convey reforms within the training sector on Monday. Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the assembly, Pegu, stated, “The training division is not going to subject any separate SOP for the reopening of instructional establishments.
