West Bengal students demand reopening of education institution

West Bengal students are demanding for educational institutions to reopen, and a protest regarding the same led to scuffling between police and students at Salt Lake, Kolkata.

The protesting students have two main demands –one is to reopen educational institutions, and the other one is to create the scope of admission for all passed out candidates in the next level of education.

The police did not allow them to organise and protest March and forcefully removed the students from the spot. This led to the situation turning into a tense one.
