I have a very diverse educational back ground In my family we don’t view educational degrees as a means to an end but acquiring knowledge is a lifelong pursuit, and I personally believe it is also a requisite to stay relevant in this ever changing world of today. I am currently pursuing Ph. D. in Management with research focus on Big Data and Climate Change from Amity Business School, Amity University Uttar Pradesh. I have published research papers in SCOPUS listed journals and IEEE Xplore, I have also authored several Book Chapters, Case Studies, and articles in books of international repute. I have done my MBA in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade – Kolkata, with an exchange semester at International University in Geneva, Switzerland. I graduated as an Electronics & Communication Engineer form Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Noida, post which I also did a diploma in Cyber Law from Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune.
My corporate and industry experience after my studies. I have more than ten years of corporate experience in FMCG and real-estate sector in India and Africa. I am currently working for SSR Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd. as Director of Client Services in Real Estate Division where I manage real estate investment portfolios of key clients. Prior to that I have worked as Key Accounts Manager, North India for Big Sams Foods and Snacks Pvt. Ltd. and for Triton Management Services in different capacities as Global Business Development Manager, assessing business opportunity and market potential in Rwanda (Central Africa) and managing frozen seafood distribution business in Ghana (West Africa). I had started my corporate journey as a Technical Assistant for AEM Pvt. Ltd. in Noida after completing my B.Tech. degree. I am currently also a reviewer for renowned Inderscience Journals, Science PG and InSc Journals.
My research work, that draws me towards academics Ever since my younger days I have had a vision for a self-sustained society in India which is free from hunger and poverty; where everyone has access to education, health-care and sanitation along with clean rivers and abundant forest cover. And I am a firm believer of the fact that you yourself have to work for the changes you want to see; hence I decided to pursue research in the field of Climate Change.
My research revolves around the fact that advent of fourth industrial revolution has come at a cost; our planet earth is enduring concurrent changes in population, increase in urban infrastructure, depleting natural resources, depleting forest covers, increase in pollution etc., and its cumulative ill effects on global climate. These changes coupled with advancements in technology viz. Sensors and Data Mining techniques have led to a growth in study of Climate Data as a method to thwart Climate Change and the study of climate change and its effects has been one of the top priorities in Big Climate Data Analytics implementations.
I am an author and too co-authored three books and edited several others; My books titled “The Shifting Goal Posts: Technology and Management Trends”, “Treatise: The London Diaries”, and “Compendium: Management Cases from Emerging Markets” are available internationally at all leading online retailers.
I have two book projects in the pipeline “Novus Politiká: Changing Dynamics in International Politics” is an attempt by the authors to present a ‘glocal’ analysis of emerging trends in International Politics in a post Covid-19 world and help the readers understand these trends and evolve in a timely manner. The cover launch of this book was reported in the international print and online media with the Daily Herald, Star Tribune, Buzz Report, Ask.com, International Business Times among others.
The second book project is titled “Opus: Handbook of contemporary Marketing” and it will be a complete theory and practice guide to contemporary marketing for academicians and industry practitioners alike.
The value of helping the less privileged has been inculcated in me by my parents since my childhood days. I am the Co-founder and trustee of a non-profit NGO ‘Neelabh Foundation’, which is successfully running “Neelabh Public School” a school for underprivileged children, in the village Ratsia Kothi of Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Before the covid-19 pandemic the school had an attendance of about 150 children from nearby villages, all getting a national-standard education with sports and library facilities.
