A woman is one of the finest creation of God Almighty! Women are the epitome of love, strength, sacrifice and courage. Women possess confidence, self-reliant and have craved their status in the society. Women education and empowerment are the indicators of a nations development. Women education ensures the holistic development of women for herself and the nation indirectly.
Education is an important key to the success journey of women. Education at all levels has equipped women to march towards victory. Women’s position irrespective of caste, colour, creed and religion has increased due to education. Women have been adapting and adopting to all social, economic and technological changes that the nation is facing today. They are creating and establishing their unique identity everywhere. It is their patience and perseverance that is leading them to the pinnacle of success. An educated woman plays a crucial role in progress of a family, enhances her position in the society and leads to the development of the nation. Education equips women to face any challenges of life and creates an environment for a healthy living.
Basic education is the source for a nation’s ability to develop and achieve sustainable targets. Education improves women’s role in agricultural productivity, enhances the status of girls and women, reduce population growth rates, augment environmental protection and improve their standard of living. Women should be encouraged for higher studies and other governmental and non-governmental jobs that would liberate them financially from the clutches of men and extend a helping hands to run the family.
Women education provides a wide range of opportunities towards getting employed. Women employment affords an opportunity towards their economic independence and takes equal share towards the family and nations progress. Economic independence is one of the factor that empowers a woman in all aspects. Apart from being housewives and engaged in domestic work, women, today have successfully multitasking and balancing both household and official works. Their leadership qualities, optimistic approach, decision making power distinguish themselves exclusively from men folk.
Women at all times have faced various challenges. Socially women are subjugated under male chauvinism, caste oppression, domestic violence’s against them and sexual harassment that they find at every walk of their life at home, office and at society from her childhood and economically dependent on their men for their needs. Today there is an absolute threat for their growth. Rape, dowry, childlessness, divorces and other health issues are bounded around them that weakens them completely. It is the education she has received and the economic independence that bestows a helping hand to overcome all their hurdles. The more she faces the problems the more she is courageous and determined.
Women have excelled in all spheres of life. She is a beautiful daughter, a loving wife, a caring mother, an affectionate sister, an understanding teacher, a trustworthy friend, a loyal official and so on…There are immense potential within women to exalt and what they need and deserve is a true love,care and understanding from their family, respect and dignity at her workspace and humanly treatment as a fellow citizens of this nation.
Undeniably there is a need of women protection against all the crimes that arising against them which should prevent them from their progress. No doubt women empowerment has taken a separate direction that fosters society and nation towards its progress and development. Women have no doubt playing a challenging role in redesigning the world today. I wish every girl enlarge their vision through education, skillfully equip to earn, serve the family and society with dignity and concern and live a peaceful life for herself. Â
