A viral office order from Delhi University stating that DU will resume physical classes from September 20 for second- and third-year students has been declared fake by the varsity.
The fake DU notification also listed the Covid-19 guidelines which would have to be followed after Delhi University reopened for physical classes.
Apart from regular Covid-19 safety protocols, these inlcuded plans for every college to set up a 100-bed Covid-19 facility.
It also stated that only students and staff with at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine would be allowed to attend, and that hostel rooms wouldn’t be shared.
Hence it was clearly stated that it was a fake news and updated any reopening of the Delhi University will be shortly informed to you through legal notice.
